LOS ANGELES (TNA) – If you’re considering a career in the adult industry, porn newcomer Kimmy Thai has a few words of warning: Once porn becomes your job, watching dirty movies loses its luster – and the lust.
“I used to watch porn and copy what they were doing in the movie with my boyfriend,” the 20-year-old Thai confessed during her August 7 live chat with Naughty America. “But now that I know how porn is made, it killed it for me. Watching it doesn’t get me off anymore, because I know it’s not real.”
For Thai, one of the big disillusionments upon entering the biz was the fact that on-camera sex is continuously interrupted.
“I really like girls in my personal sex life,” she said. “So I was all excited about fucking girls on camera, but in the middle of a scene, just when I was getting into it, they keep yelling cut, and I’m like, ‘Why? Just let me fuck her!’ But you can’t just do anything you want when you’re shooting a porn scene.”
Thai admits that porn was an essential part of her life way before she even started working in the industry.
“When I was little, I would take my mom’s porn movies and watch them,” she said. “That’s how I first began to realize that I liked girls, because the girls in the video would turn me on more than the guys.”
Now that Thai no longer watches porn, she’s looking for other ways to get wet – specifically before and during sex.
“One thing that has worked is that I got mirrors on my closet doors,” she said. “I have huge closet doors and I love watching through the mirror. That works. But I’m still trying to find other things that can replace what porn used to do for me.”
One method that Thai has yet to try is fantasy role-playing.
“My biggest fantasy, I guess would be like, a doctor-patient thing,” Thai said. “Like, when I’m getting a pap smear, I want my doctor to take advantage of me. Maybe slide his fingers inside of me. And while he’s checking my breasts, he tell the nurse to get out… I’ve never told anybody that before.”
