LOS ANGELES (TNA) - April 8 was a big day for sex star Ryder Skye: It was her first anniversary in the porn business.
So what better way to celebrate than by doing a live chat with Naughty America?
“It’s my one-year anniversary in porn,” Skye said, adding, “Last year, April 8 was on Easter Sunday, so it’s kind of funny that I began then.”
But it has been a long, hard year for the half-Japanese, half-American Skye. She is still finding new ways to improve herself, both on and off screen.
“I’m not really all that good at smacking my own ass because I can’t get a good solid spank,” she admitted and then immediately qualified with, “I prefer someone else to do it..”
And she has yet to master what so many people seem fascinated by these days: female ejaculation.
“I’ve never been able to squirt before,” Skye confessed. “I’m not sure how to yet, but it definitely calls for more experimentation.”
Her experiments have led her to some interesting places, such as school.
She is furthering her knowledge and appreciation of the female form. The former theatre major has returned to school to get a degree in women’s studies – and she admits it’s not been easy.
“[College is] brutal for people in porn,” she said. “I’m fighting every step of the way to show why porn is good and healthy for women.
“I’ve gotten so much from this industry. This is the best job I’ve ever had.”
Although her theatrical experience has been helpful, she doesn’t like to act during the actual sex.
“When I’m on set, it is a performance up to the sex,” she said. “Then I’m having sex. I am who I am and I don’t know how to be anybody else.”
