NEW YORK (Wireless Flash)—Nothing gets men and women going more than figuring out who foots the bill on a date.

On April 28, Moxie in the City, a singles event service, will be holding a workshop entitled "Inside the Mind of the Opposite Sex" at Cafe Notte in New York, where attendees can ask a panel of men and women questions that puzzle them about the opposite sex.

Moxie founder Khristan Marashio says that the discussions can create conflict, especially when money is involved.

"The `who pays' question always gets heated," she said. "Women think men should be chivalrous and pay for the date, and men say they'd like it if the women offered to pay. They get pretty pissed off at women's sense of self-entitlement."

But all the fighting makes for romance in the end.

"They let their guard down afterwards, and seem more interested in each other," she said. "You're more likely to meet someone at this event than at speed dating."
