LOS ANGELES (TNA)—Cassidy Clay’s college education stripped her bank account—a problem she remedied by stripping off her clothes.
“I worked as a dancer in Philly when I was in school,” she said in a May 14 chat with Naughty America. “I had a good major, which meant there wasn’t that much work for me to do outside of class. With what work I did have, I would bring it with me sometimes to study before dancing.”
Clay graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, Penn., in 2003 with a degree in broadcasting and mass media. However, she had no clue when she was taking classes that they’d be preparing her for porn.
“I knew I wanted to be on camera,” she said. “I thought I would be doing the news or the weather, but that was kind of boring. I would much rather be on camera doing this work.”
Although her college degree has given her a well of knowledge to draw upon, the best part is how it helped her mom accept her career as a sexy celebrity.
“My mom couldn’t be mad that I got into porn,” Clay said. “I went to college and got my degree, and I’m smart. Well, people say I am at least.”
Once Clay heard the call of porn, she moved out to Los Angeles and hasn’t looked back.
“I don’t miss the East Coast at all. I like Los Angeles a lot,” she said. “When I first moved out here, I sometimes got irritated over things and wanted to move back. But there was always something that made me like it here again.”
It didn’t hurt that Clay started her West Coast life with a wild trip to Vegas for a bachelorette party with a boyfriend who was as horny as she was.
“We did it everywhere—the back of the bus, bathroom, at the table. Talk about throwing cards down on the table and me being under there going at it like this,” she said, demonstrating the universal sign for a blowjob.
