Being rock gods doesn't come easy, and metalheads ZO2 know it, retelling their climb up the rock ladder with the semi-autobiographical series "Z Rock," which premieres Sunday, Aug. 24, on IFC. The show focuses on the band's beginnings when they rocked arena shows with legends like Kiss by night, and worked as a Wiggles-style kiddie party band by day to pay the bills. According to guitarist Paulie Z, it was the kid's band that scored them the more scandalous groupies. "Some moms were very flirty," he said. "They were young and restless, and we played along." Though many MILFs threw themselves at the band, bassist David Z unconvincingly assures that the boys kept it "completely professional." However, drummer Joey Cassata isn't ashamed to admit their love for mom groupies, though he'd prefer single and smooth sexpots. "We want more groupies that aren't married," he said. "And no bush -- and I don't mean the president!" Did you enjoy this article?
