How Silda Spitzer Can Deal With Hubby's Hooker Habit

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- With all eyes on former New York governor Eliot Spitzer, whose shocking sex scandal led to his resignation, a divorce expert has some tips for his shamed spouse, Silda.

All eyes are on former New York governor Eliot Spitzer, whose shocking sex scandal led to his resignation, but a divorce expert is offering Silda Spitzer advice on dealing with her own public exposure.

Debbie Nigro is the founder of First Wives World, an online community for women contemplating, navigating, and moving beyond divorce.

If she were Silda, Nigro says, "I'd smack the crap out of him [Eliot Spitzer] then go to the gynecologist to see if I have an STD. It doesn't matter how much he paid for a hooker, it's still the same flavor of disease."

Even with the public eye on her, Nigro believes Silda will get through her private pain.

"It's hard for her to make a rational decision right now, but she's a highly intelligent woman, and whatever she decides, it'll be done with class," Nigro said.

Nigro doesn't recommend Silda turn the tables on her husband.

"This is not the week for her to take a revenge lover," she said. "She won't be at her best."
