Jenaveve Jolie says her sex life is hotter since she dumped her boyfriend and became a swinging single.

During a May 7 chat with Naughty America, the porn starlet revealed that her relationship to ex-boyfriend and fellow performer Kris Knight had a dampening effect on their scenes.

“The first year I started doing hardcore films,” she said. “I only worked with my boyfriend and he only worked with me. But then we started growing apart. Our scenes were boring. There was no fire, I think, because, at that point, we were already trying to break up with each other.”

Since breaking up with Knight, Jolie says that variety has definitely spiced up her on-screen performances and her career as a whole.

“I love being single,” she said. “It’s more fun and fans like it better, because they can keep up the fantasy of me being available. The scenes are definitely hotter. Once the camera turns on, I just find that chemistry with the other person and make it a good scene.”

Jolie began her career in adult entertainment as an exotic dancer and got introduced to the world of porn by one of her regular fans who turned out to be a porn company rep.

“He asked me, ‘Do you wanna make more money?’” Jolie recalled. “I said, ‘Sure.’ But what he didn’t tell me is that the job was shooting porn.”

Under the impression that she was auditioning for a modeling job, Jolie visited the agency only to find walls full of pictures of nude women.

“I was freaked out!” she said. “I got really shy when I saw the pictures.”

Jolie left the office slightly perturbed, but she said the money sounded so good that she decided to come back and give the job one more try.

“The agent convinced me I didn’t have to do porn if I didn’t want to,” she said. “So I started out just doing a nude photo shoot. Then when I saw the paycheck, I was like, ‘Damn!’”

Jolie says she no longer believes there's a correlation between a guy's rap sheet and his lovemaking ability.

And so, with moneymaking on her mind, Jolie set out to explore the lucrative possibilities of the porn biz more in depth, starting with girl-on-girl scenes and moving on to the harder stuff.

Jolie said that now the hardest part of her profession is managing all the money she’s making.

“Saving money is the hardest part of being in porn, I think for a lot of girls,” she said. “You’re making so much of it in so little time that’s it’s easy to blow it off. Plus you’re young and you don’t really care.”

As for the sex, Jolie said she considers it one of the best parts of the job, so much so that it doesn’t feel like work. However, she remembers a time in her life when sex was not something she particularly enjoyed and the idea of screwing for a living would never have entered her mind.

“The first time I had sex was actually horrible,” she laughed. “I was 15 and the guy was 19. I was so attracted to him at the time, because he was this big gangster bad boy, always getting in trouble. I thought it was so hot.”

As it turned out, though, her bad boy was pretty bad in the sack, and Jolie said her inexperience didn’t help much.

“When we first did it, I was so shy,” she said. “I didn’t even take my shirt off and I just sort of pushed my panties to the side. I didn’t even take them off all the way. And basically he just tried to ram his cock in right away. No lube, no spit, nothing. He just wasn’t very good at all.”

But despite a bad first experience, Jolie remained persistent.

“I kept having sex until I found someone who was good,” she said, adding that she no longer has an infatuation with tough-guy types, having learned that you can’t judge a guy’s sexual prowess by how many times he’s been to jail.
