LOS ANGELES (TNA) – Chances are, you’ve fantasized about dating a porn actress. But if you ever have the good fortune of meeting one in the flesh, Nikki Rhodes has this tip: Hold off on the sex talk.

She knows from personal experience. Rhodes, 26, who began working in the adult industry two years ago, says she once went out on a date with a fan, but his oral fixation with sex talk did not leave her wanting more.

“I went on a blind date once,” Rhodes said during an April 16 chat with Naughty America. “And I didn’t know he was a fan at first, but once I found that out, it sorta became creepy. He came off as stalker-ish.”

Rhodes – who has also performed under the name “Nikki Coxxx” – avoids dating fans because their conversations largely steer towards sexual subject matters, and that’s a real turn-off for an adult entertainer who is off the job.

“There’s more to me than just sex,” she exclaimed.

In fact, Rhodes says that in her high school years she was a long ways away from the sex starlet she is today.

“I was the typical bookworm in school,” she said. “I was, like, the ugly duckling who turned out pretty at the end. And I still feel like the ugly duckling sometimes. I was teased a lot when I was younger and now it’s weird that everyone is interested in me. But I’m getting used to the attention.”

Rhodes said she spent a good portion of her youth in home school before graduating from high school at 16.

She then tried her hand at various colleges, and even attended law school for two years before deciding she preferred working in her birthday suit to the world of suits and ties.

“I was an intern at family law,” she explained. “And I just wasn’t happy with it. It didn’t excite me. I would rather do something I love than spend years going to school to do something I hate.”

After doing mainstream modeling and working as a makeup artist in the entertainment industry for a few years, Rhodes met people in the porn biz who encouraged her to try her hand at it.

Now she commutes from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, doing fashion shows and shooting porn, and if she ever wears a suit, it comes off very quickly.

When she’s not doing it in front of the camera, Rhodes practices her craft at home with her boyfriend, who also works on camera. Once in a while they throw in a third party.

“I have had two guys at once,” Rhodes said. “But my favorite thing is having two girls and one guy, because you get the best of both worlds that way.”
