LOS ANGELES (TNA) – Before shooting a female ejaculation scene, porn actress Darryl Hanah spends hours preparing.

“You have to build up a lot of cum to squirt,” Hanah said during an April 10 chat with Naughty America, explaining that whenever she’s booked to perform female ejaculation she literally plays with herself from the time she goes to bed until the time she wakes up and all morning long until she walks onto the set.

“I just leave my vibrator on before falling asleep,” she added. “That way by the time of the shoot, I don’t have to work so hard.”

The trick, according to Hanah, is for women to masturbate until they almost reach orgasm, but then refrain from climaxing. They must repeat this process until they feel the moment is right.

Hanah, who says that on set she’s often either masturbating or talking about masturbation, has been an avid proponent of the art of self-pleasure since she first discovered it.

“I grew up as a foster kid,” she said. “So because of that, my goal has always been to promote healthy female masturbation. Girls who grow up like that often don’t know anything about it. They have no one to teach them and I think that every young teenage girl out there should be masturbating.”

Hanah says she lost her virginity at the age of 14, and that she was always aggressive and in control from the beginning of her sex life.

As a teen, Hanah went to three different high schools, a fact that, according to her, made it easier for her to be a slut because she didn’t have to deal with the gossip and badmouthing so much.

After graduating high school, Hanah worked as a fashion model for five years, and though she enjoyed the easy money, she did not like the attitude of the people she worked with or what the industry was doing to her.

“I hated what I was becoming, which was basically a shallow, vapid whore!” she laughed.

So to avoid losing her soul, Hanah quit her modeling gig and worked as a restaurant server, where she moved up to manager within a week due to her go-getter attitude and obsession with efficiency, and eventually ended up working as general manager for several years before she entered the porn biz.

“Unlike a lot of girls,” Hanah said, “I got into the business because I watched a lot of porn.”

Hanah says she got her foot in the door when she and her husband attended the 2005 AVN Convention as fans.

“Basically we realized that this was the kind of stuff we liked to do in our off time,” she said. “Dress like a slut and have sex with people.

“And it was weird, because, I think because of how we looked, we got treated like we were porn stars. We ended up getting some tickets for the awards show and went to the after-parties.”

The event gave the couple the chance to make connections with people in the industry, and in September 2005, Hanah began her career as a porn actress at the age of 33.

A lot of things changed that day for Hanah, including her name.

“An hour after meeting up with my agent at the time, she changed my name to Darryl Hanah,” she said.

The agent based her decision on the fact that Hanah often gets the comment that she looks like blonde Hollywood actress Daryl Hannah, whom Hanah admires not only for her films, but for her environmental activism.

A year after Hanah’s porn christening, her husband entered the industry as well and the two now enjoy being filmed together during group sex scenes.

“I’ve done double penetration; I’ve been gangbanged; I’ve done all sorts of naughty things,” she said. “The hot thing is that when we’re doing a group scene, [my husband] always pops his load last. He gets to watch all the other guys shoot their loads into my mouth and then he goes last and then I swallow the whole thing.”

The only regret that Hanah has is not having entered the porn biz earlier.

“In porn, once men get established, they can stay in front of the camera for the rest of their lives,” she said. “For women it’s the opposite. They only last for five or 10 years, so I entered pretty late in my career.”

“I would rather do slut films than MILF films,” she continued. “Unfortunately, most of the stuff I’ve done has had this MILF, older woman angle, and that’s not really me. I’m not a mom or anything like that.
