Sugar And Spice Make Her Not Very Nice

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Get this guys -- giving your girl chocolate and candy this Valentine's Day (Feb. 14) will not lead to nookie.

Connie Bennett says giving chocolate to a woman actually decreases a guy's chance for romance.

Connie Bennett is an anti-sugar advocate and the author of "SUGAR SHOCK!: How Sweets and Simple Carbs Can Derail Your Life -- and How You Can Get Back on Track" (Berkley Trade), who says sweet treats like chocolate and candy will actually lower your chance for romance.

"Forget the chocolate," she warns. "She'll be amorous for maybe the first half-hour, but then with her low blood sugar, she'll be moody, wiped-out, and low on libido."

And there's another weighty issue that should keep you from lavishing your lady with sugary sweets.

"Most women are watching their weight, and now she's got this box of candy taunting her," she says. "She'll be torn."

Instead, Bennett recommends a heartfelt gift like a massage, flowers, lingerie, or even a love letter to ensure a frisky February 14.
