Wear Your Pajamas To Work

SHELBURNE, Vt. (Wireless Flash) -- Enough of the formal attire, it's time to wear your PJs to work.

April 16 is 'National Wear Your Pajamas To Work Day,' and all Americans are encouraged to wear their PJs to the office.

Spokesperson Meg Terrien says the jammie jam actually promotes workplace productivity.

"You feel totally different in your pajamas," she said. "You can focus and not be stressed."

But if you sleep in something skimpy and sexy, you might want to do some shopping before showing up at the office.

"It's a fun day," she said. "Who doesn't want to work in their pajamas? But be appropriate."

Although it's only one day, Terrien isn't opposed to extending the casual celebration, and encourages people to
relax all year long.

Terrien says men get into the pajama party even more than women.

"Guys are the most excited -- they don't have to worry about matching," she said.
