Jan. 30 Is 'International Your MySpace Account Day'

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Wireless Flash) -- One blogger wants you to delete MySpace drama from your life!

Simon Owens, who runs the entertainment commentary website bloggasm.com, has declared this Wednesday, Jan. 30, as International Delete Your MySpace Account Day, and wants thousands to join him in deleting their personal MySpace profiles to give the social networking giant a mean message: Their website sucks!

Owens is tired of the drama MySpace causes, including fighting for a spot on your friends' `Top Eight,' and posting pictures that may get you into trouble at work.

"I have an account, but we have to stop using MySpace," he said. "You have spam, you get annoying updates, and it glitches a lot. It sucks!"

Owens realizes his boycott won't end the social site, but he's hoping for at least a few followers amongst his friends and blog readers.
