Sexy Gals Get Seriously Scrutinized
JANUARY 14, 2008
LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- A new reality show is proving that the eye of the beholder can be bitter, blunt -- and blind.Fox Feality Channel Judge not, lest ye be judged is the theme of 'Battle Of The Bods,' a new reality show where gorgeous people rank their own looks and then compare them to a team of judges.
"Battle of the Bods" is a new reality competition debuting Jan. 19 on the Fox Reality Channel that has five women and five men ranking themselves in order of attractiveness.
Then those rankings are matched against a panel of opposite-sex judges.
For a show based on beauty, the criticism can get pretty ugly.
Host Olivia Lee says the male judges critical remarks of the female contestants has exposed just how guys really think.
"You hear guys say, `I like you just the way you are,' but then I hear these guys saying, `She'd be hotter if she had bigger boobs,'" Lee said. "Just hearing that as a woman, it can make you a bit paranoid. Sometimes I wish I was a lesbian -- at least you know what you're getting yourself into!"
But when it comes to Lee being judged herself, the eyes of the beholder are better than her own.
She says, "I have terrible eyesight. When a guy looks at me, I don't even notice, or I think he's got a wonky eye."
