Pooh Bear Rocks The Mosh Pit

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) -- Nobody is "Pooh- poohing" one rock fan's costume choice.

Greg Rothberg has been attending rock shows for 7 years dressed only in a Winnie the Pooh costume.

Greg Rothberg is a 23-year-old in Staten Island, New York, who has been going to rock concerts dressed as Winnie the Pooh for seven years.

Rothberg has been to more than 500 shows dressed in the gold and red bear costume, but this ferocious fan doesn't hang back eating honey.

The pretend Pooh prefers the mosh pit, and he's been called on stage at least 50 times by bands like Story of the Year and The Starting Line.

And this Pooh's no poseur -- Rothberg rides the subway, bus, and even the ferry in full costume, and doesn't care if people pooh-pooh his outfit.

"Sometimes they shake their heads, but I say, `I'm just hangin' out!'" he said.

Though he's still young, Rothberg's Winnie days won't last forever.

"I have no plans for retirement," he said. "But I can't be 50 and still doing this."
