Donald Trump Is Not A True Asshole
MARCH 24, 2008
NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- One adventurous author has a soft spot for Donald Trump.
In "A$$hole: How I Got Rich & Happy by Not Giving a Damn About Anyone And How You Can, Too" (Broadway), Martin Kihn documents his year-long experiment of taking on the traits of a true A-hole to get ahead in the workplace.
Kihn advises others to follow the trusted tyrannical tips of speaking commandingly, not smiling, and taking credit
for other people's work, and cites Tony Montana from "Scarface" as the ultimate a**hole.
But Kihn steered clear of mimicking brash big-wig Donald Trump around the workplace.
"I think of Trump as more of an alpha male," he said. "On 'The Apprentice,' he has a humane side. Although it could
be an act."
But while Kihn's assertive attitude got him ahead in the office, his brutish behavior stopped at home.
"Being an a**hole in your personal life is much harder," he said. "You can't really be an a**hole to your father.
And I didn't even try it with my wife. I had no intention of getting a divorce."
"A$$hole" hits shelves April 8.
